What is tremella and what is it used for?
Tremella (Tremella fuciformis), also called snow fungus, is a translucent, jelly like edible mushroom that has been used in soups and desserts in China for centuries. Ra Hygge adds a double extract of the tremella fruiting body, together with maitake extract, to a darker roasted low acid coffee, and also makes an alcohol free liquid extract and a powder from it. The taste is mild and slightly nutty.
