Good to know

Fruiting body, dose and time

All Ra Hygge extracts are double extracted from fruiting bodies only, not mycelium. This gives the full spectrum of water soluble (beta glucans) and fat soluble (triterpenes) compounds. Start with 50% of the dose in the first week. Results build over 2 to 8 weeks of consistent use: functional mushrooms are not a quick fix but a long term protocol.

Questions about functional mushrooms

The questions are written the way people actually search for functional mushrooms.

Which mushroom is best for focus?

Lion's mane, the brain mushroom. Our protocol: 2 ml of extract in your morning coffee and 1 ml in the afternoon for deep work. It pairs well with chaga.

Which mushroom is best for sleep and stress?

Reishi, the adaptogenic mushroom. 1 ml in the morning and 2 ml in the evening, not before intense training. For the evening, combine it with tremella.

Which mushroom is best for energy and training?

Cordyceps, the performance mushroom. 2 ml 30 minutes before training, or 1 ml in the afternoon against an energy dip. It is caffeine free.

Can I combine several mushrooms?

Yes. Popular combinations are lion's mane and chaga in the morning, reishi and tremella in the evening, and cordyceps and lion's mane before training. See the table above.

What is the difference between fruiting body and mycelium?

The fruiting body is the mushroom itself, the mycelium is the root network, often grown on grain. Ra Hygge uses only fruiting bodies, without mycelium, fillers or starch.

How long before I notice results?

Results build over 2 to 8 weeks of consistent use. Start with half the dose in the first week. Functional mushrooms are a long term protocol, not a quick fix.

Do mushroom extracts contain caffeine?

No, the mushrooms themselves contain no caffeine. The caffeine in Ra Hygge coffee comes from the coffee, and in Focus Fusion and Maté Magic from green tea and yerba mate.
