How and how much lion's mane should I take?

Coffee: 14 g per cup, we suggest two cups a day. Liquid extract: 1 to 3 ml (3 ml gives 360 mg of extract) in coffee, tea, juice or water. Powder: half a teaspoon (about 690 mg) in a drink.

When is the best time to take lion's mane?

Usually in the morning or at midday. The coffee suits the morning. The powder and drops are caffeine free, so they also suit midday and the afternoon.

Does Lion's Mane coffee contain caffeine?

Yes. Lion's Mane coffee is real Arabica coffee and contains caffeine like regular coffee. The mushrooms themselves contain no caffeine, so the alcohol free lion's mane extract is caffeine free.

How is mushroom coffee different from regular coffee?

Mushroom coffee is real roasted coffee with added extract from the fruiting bodies of edible mushrooms. Ra Hygge coffee is also low in acidity (Lion's Mane coffee has a pH of up to 6.0) because it is treated after roasting with a method patented in Finland.

Does Lion's Mane coffee taste of mushrooms?

Not really. In the cup you taste a medium roast, soft coffee and a light earthy umami. The low acidity makes the taste rounder.

What's the difference between lion's mane powder and liquid extract?

The liquid extract (100 ml) is concentrated 12:1 and dosed with a pipette; one bottle equals 150 g of dried lion's mane. The powdered extract (40 g, about 57 servings) dissolves instantly and suits smoothies, cocoa and coffee.

Can I take lion's mane with medication or during pregnancy?
